Can someone explain how margin SHORT works on Huobi?

So basically i want to short, say EOS(just chose a random coin). But i have USDT.

On exchanges like Bitfinex, you can margin short without having any coins. Same does not seem to be the case on Huobi.

So if i understand it correctly, i must buy EOS on normal exchange, transfer them to margin, then get a loan, and then margin sell all those EOS coins(mine+borrowed)? Is this correct?
