apparently, i missed some message about including a memo ID when depositing BNB to kucoin. they say without this memo ID they can not credit my account and must return the funds to the originating address. the BNB was sent from my binance account so i contacted binance to inform them of what happened and to expect the funds to be returned to my account. binance said they can’t help contact kucoin since the transfer was successful and kucoin is now in possession of the funds. so basically, both exchanges are saying contact the other exchange. kucoin also told me resolving this issue will require “significant resources” and they require 10 USDT to help me. has anybody been through this before? i’ve never heard an exchange say ya we have your funds but we aren’t going to give it to you because you didn’t include a memo with your transfer and if you want it back pay us 10 USDT.
